Today the GCE Group President Alexander Moskalenko has participated in a workshop on cost-effectiveness for major accident prevention. The event was hosted by the UNECE Convention on the Transboundary Effects of Industrial Accidents.
The workshop on cost-effectiveness for major accident prevention was held on 12 October in Warsaw with the support of the European Commission, the UN and the supervisory bodies from Poland. According to the agenda the purpose of the workshop was to facilitate the dialogue on optimizing the costs of preventing major accidents without reducing the effectiveness of these measures at international level.
Representatives from the supervisory bodies, local authorities, academia, NGOs and industry have gathered together in Warsaw to discuss the proposed issues.
